Team Leader

You will be working on a rota basis of 1 on / 2 off. Shifts are:

7am – 10:30am (including a sleep-in)
Pay

£28,288 – £30,472 (based on an average of 40 hrs per week)

+ £65 per sleep-in

Role Overview
As a Team Leader, you will:

Prioritise your own workload and assist the Registered Manager in prioritising team responsibilities

Maintain and monitor accurate records
-
Work effectively within a team
-
Demonstrate strong leadership skills, essential for this role

Show understanding and experience of adolescent behaviour
-
Maintain an exemplary disciplinary record, reliability, and good attendance
Essential

Right to work in the UK
-
Full UK driving licence
-
Able to work on a rota basis (including evenings, weekends, and bank holidays)

Able to work 24hr shifts inclusive of a sleep-in

Good understanding of safeguarding children and young people
-
Willing to complete a Level 4 Diploma upon completion of probation
Preferable
-
Hold a Level 4 in Residential Care (or equivalent)

1 year’s experience working in residential care

Experience supporting children with EBD/LD
Skills

Strong communication skills

Knowledge of safeguarding children and young people

Accurate reporting and recording

Ability to confidently lead a team

Team working and supervision
-
Familiarity with creating and following care plans (advantageous)
